The paramedic is an emergency care provider who has completed an accredited paramedic training program and has been certified/licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services as an Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic or Licensed Paramedic. The Paramedic will be responsible for delivering emergency medical care at basic and advanced levels to those requesting their assistance, performing cleaning and maintenance duties on department vehicles and equipment as needed and maintaining crew quarters and other areas controlled by the department in accordance with established policies and procedures.
